DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in File::ExtAttr, which potentially
can be exploited by malicious, local users to cause a DoS (Denial of
Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an off-by-one buffer overflow in
"getfattr()" when retrieving the extended attributes of a file. This
can potentially be exploited to cause a DoS via a specially crafted
extended attribute.

The vulnerability has been reported in versions prior to 0.03.

Note: The actual impact of the vulnerability depends on how the Perl
library is used in an application.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 0.03.
