DESCRIPTION:
Adrian Castro has reported a vulnerability in e/pop Web Conferencing,
which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct script insertion
attacks.

Input passed to the topic name when creating private or public
conferences isn't properly sanitised before being used. This can be
exploited to inject arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be
executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site
when the malicious user data is viewed via the main page.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 4.1.0.755. Other
versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Filter malicious characters and character sequences in a proxy server
or firewall with URL filtering capabilities.
