SOFTWARE:
STLport 5.x

DESCRIPTION:
Two weaknesses with unknown impacts have been reported in STLport.
1) The use of the unsafe "strcpy()" function in
"src/c_locale_glibc/c_locale_glibc2.c" to copy locale category names
may result in a buffer overflow via specially-crafted locale strings
read from the environment.
2) The use of static buffers in "src/num_put_float.cpp" can result in
a buffer overflow when e.g. "cout" is used with "setw()" with an
overly large parameter.
The weaknesses have been reported in versions prior to 5.0.2.
NOTE: The actual impact of the weaknesses depends on how the library
is used.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 5.0.2.
