DESCRIPTION:
Secunia Research has discovered a vulnerability in ExtractNow, which
can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in UNACEV2.DLL
when extracting an ACE archive containing a file with an overly long
filename. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer
overflow when a user extracts a specially crafted ACE archive.

The vulnerability is related to:
SA16479

The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 3.60. Other versions
may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
No fix is available for version 3.x. However, the rewritten version
4.x is not affected. Users can therefore upgrade to version 4.15 or
later.
