DESCRIPTION:
eEye Digital Security has reported a vulnerability in McAfee ePolicy
Orchestrator, which can be exploited by malicious people to
compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to an input validation error in the
management console's Framework Service component (enabled by default
on all servers and agents). This can be exploited to write files to
arbitrary locations on the system via directory traversal attacks in
a specially crafted "PropsResponse" request sent to the service.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 3.5.0.x. Prior
versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 3.5.5 or later.
