VERIFY ADVISORY:
http://secunia.com/advisories/21603/

CRITICAL:
Moderately critical

IMPACT:
Cross Site Scripting, Manipulation of data

WHERE:
>From remote

SOFTWARE:
Drupal Easylinks Module 4.x
http://secunia.com/product/11652/

DESCRIPTION:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in the Easylinks Module for
Drupal, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct script
insertion and SQL injection attacks.

1) Input passed to unspecified parameters is not properly sanitised
before being used. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and
script code, which is executed in a user's browser session in context
of an affected site when the malicious data is viewed.

2) Input passed to unspecified parameters is not properly sanitised
before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate
SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation requires appropriate privileges to the
Easylinks module.

The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 4.7 prior to
revision 1.5.2.1.

SOLUTION:
Update to the latest version of 4.7.
