– Vulnerability Details:
This vulnerability allows attackers to execute arbitrary code on
vulnerable installations of Apple QuickTime Player. User interaction is
required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a
malicious page or open a malicious file.

The specific flaw exists within the parsing of QuickTime files that
utilize the Animation codec. A lack of proper length checks can result
in a heap based buffer overflow leading to arbitrary code execution
under the context of the currently logged in user.
