A potential security vulnerability has been identified with HP StorageWorks
Modular Smart Array P2000 G3. This vulnerability could be exploited to allow remote
unauthorized access.

RESOLUTION

The vulnerability can be resolved by the following procedure.

Apply the following steps to change the admin password using
CLI or the telnet log in the admin account with the following credentials:

# login: admin
# Password: !admin

Enter the following command:

#set password Password: <new password>
Re-enter password: <new password>
Success: Command completed successfully. (admin) - The password was changed.

Note: these steps should be followed when the administrator restores
      factory settings with the restore defaults command.
      The restore defaults command will restore the services admin account
      with the default password. Follow the above steps to change
      the admin password when the restore defaults command is used.
