to Java 2 SDK, Standard Edition, v 1.4.

2. Affected Releases

  The following releases are affected:

       Java Web Start 1.0.1_01, 1.0.1, and 1.0

4. Changes with Java Web Start 1.0.1_02

Java Web Start 1.0.1_02 will not allow use of any
Java Networking Launching Protocol(JNLP) settings of the form
  <property name="NAME" value="VALUE"/> in unsigned applications,
unless the "NAME" begins with "jnlp." or "javaws."
